The name PracticallyRealGaming.com is an intentional, double-sided quantifier. All modern game engines have technical limitations; because they are designed primarily for entertainment, they cannot perfectly replicate real-world physics or combat.

• We know the limitations: We don’t pretend a video game is a real-life deployment. We do not operate as a strict military simulation (MilSim) community, and we explicitly reject arbitrary ranks or fake internet authority.
• We play authentically anyway: We choose to play these games as if real-world logic applies. We utilize genuine strategy, squad coordination, and tactical movement because that is exactly where the fulfillment of the game lives.

Within PRG, “playing the game, not the engine” is our absolute standard. Any activity that capitalizes on a game’s technological weaknesses to gain a personal advantage—such as exploiting map glitches, breaking sightlines, or cheesing mechanics—is heavily frowned upon. We want to win, but we choose to win with dignity, honor, and skill, focusing on superior teamwork rather than padding our personal scoreboards.

We reject authoritarian, overly restrictive coaching. Leading here is about facilitating a great tactical experience, not barking orders or micromanaging how others play.
• Active, Supportive Followers: When we aren’t leading, our job is to actively encourage and support the person who stepped up to guide us. By working together as a tight, adaptable unit, the entire squad gets to experience a level of immersive gameplay that “lone wolf” players never find.

PRG was founded to extend the proudest administrative lineage of our former home, TacticalGamer.com. Our highest priority is to maintain a welcoming, stable environment where mature gamers can unwind and enjoy their hobby without the interference of toxic internet antics.

• A Curated, Supported Space: PRG is privately funded to keep the infrastructure, domain, and dedicated servers completely live and independent. No one can purchase special privileges, extra administrative power, or in-game perks. Inside our doors, everyone stands on equal footing.
• An Open Invitation: Our public game servers are a gateway for guests. Many players have never experienced true tactical teamwork before and might find it intimidating at first.
